TRAI issues new clarification that 140/1600 numbers can’t be blocked or tagged

TRAI has issued a clarification on the 140 and 1600 number series row, dismissing recent media reports as potential “misinformation” and restating its position — no tagging, blocking or filtering of 1600-series calls is permitted, and 140-series calls can only be blocked through the DND registry. What the clarification does not address is the actual problem: institutions are misusing these number series, and consumers are paying the price.

HONOR Magic V6 is the Most Innovative Foldable Money Can Buy

Foldables have been around for a while now, and they’ve typically asked you to accept a few trade-offs in return for that second screen. But as the technology matures, those compromises are steadily disappearing — and foldables are finally hitting the mainstream. The HONOR Magic V6 is a perfect example, packing a remarkable amount of engineering into an exceptionally thin chassis. It measures just 4.0mm when unfolded, and even folded shut it comes in at only 8.75mm — exactly the same thickness as the iPhone 17 Pro Max, a conventional, non-folding phone. It could very well be the most innovative foldable money can buy.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Review: Evolution, Not Revolution

When it comes to flagship Android smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S series is impossible to overlook. The company has consistently delivered some of the finest offerings in this premium category, refining its smartphones steadily with each generation. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is the latest addition to the family in 2026, bringing the world’s first built-in Privacy Display, an upgraded Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, faster 60W Super Fast Charging 3.0, and an improved camera system.

Competition in this premium segment has grown fierce, with strong challengers from the likes of Vivo and OPPO. While Samsung has long enjoyed its position at the top, a formula of incremental refinements year over year may no longer be enough to hold that ground.
